How the shared board works
The board is generated from the seed and language stored in the link. Because each device receives those same values, the items appear in the same positions for everyone. The chosen color theme is included too.
Progress is deliberately local: tapping a square marks it only on that device. Roadtrip Bingo does not synchronize taps or scores in real time, so passengers can compete on identical boards or collaborate by calling out sightings.
Start a multiplayer game
- One passenger creates the board.
- Use the share control to copy the complete game link.
- Send the link in your usual group chat or pass it directly to nearby devices.
- Everyone opens it, confirms the boards match, and starts spotting.
Competitive or cooperative
For a race, the first passenger to complete any row, column, or diagonal wins. For cooperative play, call out each sighting and let everyone mark it. You can also split the car into teams, with one device per team.
Keep the game fair
- Start only after every passenger has opened the shared link
- Agree whether everyone must see an item before it counts
- Use the reset control if the group wants to replay the board
- Let passengers handle the phones while the driver focuses on driving
